The Parish Budget

Our "target" for our weekly offertory collection is $3,770. The following was received for the weekend of February 27-28:

Catholic Relief Services

Next weekend we will tithe 10% of our collection for the work of Catholic Relief Services. Your gift will support agricultural development to strengthen economies and create food sustainability, provide outreach services to survivors of human trafficking, and supply pastoral care and advocacy for immigrants and refugees. Your generosity is appreciated.

Solicitation Fund

Because of the number of solicitations for funds we have had in the parish, the Pastoral Council has decided that we would establish a funding committee to which people could apply for special causes. Sr. Natalie will chair the committee and appoint other members to assist her in determining how much and which causes can be funded. The money will initially from our operating budget. There will be forthcoming guidelines for applying for funding.

Finance Committee

Members of the Finance Committee for the fiscal year are: Bruce Doud, Wayne Higdon, Pat Holm, Alice Kolb, Joe Lapinski, Sr. Natalie Runfola, and Jim Venter. Alice was selected to be Chairperson. Thanks to all of these individuals for offering their time in service to the parish, especially Alice, for accepting this new responsibility.
