Our Pantry Needs

outreach_pantry_sh185.gif The Food Pantry is in need of: cranberry sauce, canned fruit, and stuffing mix. Don't forget your plastic bags and containers. We are always in need of them. Remember, our neighbors can't use food stamps to buy personal care items such as soap, toothpaste, and toilet paper. As a result there are frequent requests for toiletries by families using the Food Pantry. At Christmas we give a present of toiletries to families registered with the Pantry who are not eligible for the regular Holiday Program. For the most part these are seniors. We ask your help in providing the toiletries. There are bags with a list of needed items in the church foyer. Please take a bag home and return it before December 1 with the items requested.

Holiday help is needed please sign up in the church foyer.

Furniture Program

The Furniture Program is closed for the months of November and December.

Center Donations

When you have donations that you would like to bring to the Center, we would very much appreciate it if you would give us a call before you come in. We have such limited storage space and it becomes somewhat of a problem when items are left at the center without our knowing. When we speak with you with can arrange for a staff member to be available to accept your donation, ensuring it is something our neighbors can use at the time. For example we can't accept winter clothes at this time, as we have no room for them. However, we will announce when winter items will be accepted, so please don't forget us! As always, thank you for your continued generosity.
